i thought that by 20 i was suppose to be way out of puberty, but i still have white hairs on my face/chin/cheeks. whats up with that? will they turn to black hair/stubble soon? My Dad is able to grow what I would call a 'proper' beard, and I seem to remember his father had no problems beard wise.

once again everybody matures at different ages %26amp; different rates. just be patient you will learn that growing facial hair is not all it is cracked up to be.

theres a cream that you can rub on your face, ive seen commercials for it (i dont remeber what its called, so i dont know how much help i am), and its dermatoligist approved

have you tried shaving already..also what is your hair color..if you do not have say hairy arms or light hairs you may have skipped the gene pool..dont be so upset..most women do not like a hairy face..it tickels the wrong way in a nice kiss..and else where

To my understanding it is not your dads side you should be looking at, it is your mothers side of the family.

As for you, you are not your parents. We have sons. Being young and having lots of hair even for a boy is the opposite problem you have. Our boys do not look there age and is a huge problem!!

I saw on TV where guys these days are waxing there hair off. So just think of all the money you are saving..... Give yourself time. I told our boys do not save or more hair will grow. So far two of them have listened to me, one has not......

Some people are not known for having a lot of hair.....

Hey, one of my best friends from high school was and still is just like you. Having little or no facial hair has never been a problem for him. He's always had a woman in his life, he works as a very successful stock broker, and he's saved a fortune on razors.

These things happen. I have two teenage sons, one has been shaving regularly since he was 14, the other one looks like he might never have to shave. Each of us are a genetic crap shoot, who knows what we'll be or how we'll turn up different from our parents.

Don't fret over so small an issue as this. I am 45 and have very little facial hair. I can grow a thin mustache and and faint goatee, but that's about it. I also have the fine white hairs on my skin like you described.

I have asked a dermatologist about it, and they said it is purely genetic and there isn't much that can be done. There are times I wish I could grow a thick beard, but then there are also times I'm grateful for not having to shave every day. (currently I need to shave about every 3rd day.)

Just be happy with who you are and thank God this is the only thing that makes you different.
