White hair in 15 year olds?

okay so heres the problem im 15 but i have quite a few white hairs...they're white from the top then turn golden about half way and then they're dark brown like the rest of my hair...am i growing old? or is it some kind of defficiency...i saw this in my classmates hair too...he's about the same age as me... please help??

Ask to see a doctor about it. Might be a diet thing. I think it is a little too young for white hairs.

This can be the result of a blow to the head but they would be all white.

relax, it could be stress, so stop stressing! It could also be genetic to start getting those at a young age, i started at about that age, and im a girl, It kinda went away, now i only have like three at a time. And i still have a full head of brown curls. If it ever gets really bad, you could always dye it any ol' color you want! Just try not to worry about it.

it usually is a result of stress. it's also a result of your genetic inheritance, some people are predisposed towards graying early. my mother's younger sister turned white at 35, my mother is 50 now and still not completely white in hair.

I don't think it has anything to do with stress. That might just be a myth. But really, you should relax. I noticed my first gray hair when I was fifteen, as well. It's not your fault. I suppose it's just genetics. Both of my siblings also noticed gray hairs at a young age, so I suppose it's just something that's inherited. My mother is only in her forties and has close to all grays now. A lovely trait we inherited from her, huh? No worries, though, there's always hair color! That's been my remedy the past four years. I really don't think it's that big of a deal.
