Random single white hair growth?

From time to time there is one really long white hair growing to the left of my eyebrow. I pull it out every time. My mother has the same thing only to the left of her chin.

I get a white eyebrow hair, I tweeze it, and it comes back. Kinda weird.

Jenn is right, it is probably a birthmark. Some people get birthmarks on their heads, and end up with a patch of white hair. Sometimes, hair follicles just grow a different color. Most men's beards are a combination of red, black, white, blonde, and brown, with the dominant color being the same as their hair color. Occasionally, though, a blond man will have a red beard. It's just a part of the vast complexity of genetics.

i get the same thing (one really long eyebrow hair that always grows back). i started looking into it to see if it could be related to any health issues, etc... and it doesn't seem to be; it's just a weird random thing. however, i did find that some dude (frank ames) just got himself into the guinness records for the world's longest eyebrow hair! crazy world...
