Im mixed (black and white) so i have black ppl hair mainly, but i want it straight quickly but not c

do i have any options or am i stuck. i get it pressed by my aunts and stuff but it take 2-4 hours depending on how i want it and how good of condition my hair is in. and when it gets straight it can be really greasy. so i was wondering if i could get it shiny and sleek but not greasy.

HELP!

Im mixed (black and white) so i have black ppl hair mainly, but i want it straight quickly but not cemecally?

My grand-daughter is mixed and she has hair that is very, very curly (mainly black type hair), but it is very fine. It is not too curly that it needs to be pressed or hot combed, so we use Lustre's Pink Lotion on her hair twice weekly. It's sold in the section where black hair care products are found. This conditions her hair and scalp and leaves her hair very managable. After shampooing, we have used a product called John Freida's Frizz Ease. (It's sold in the white people section of hair products). There is a hair conditioner and a leave-in hair treatment that helps to tone down the frizziness and leaves the hair relaxed. If you want a straight look, you might try blow drying your hair after using the Frizz Ease and use a large (one and a half inch) round brush to pull the hair straight as you blow dry. You can ask a hair dresser at a salon to show you how if you're not sure.

The products I have mentioned do not leave a greasy residue on your hair.

Good luck.

Your best bet is to get Aloe Vera Gel...it will straighten it out

quick and hold your look all day....without feeling greasy

You can buy an electric hot comb, it just runs through your hair and makes irt straight and lasts a few days as long as you don' t get it wet. You should not use it too often as it ruins your hair with overuse and it gets very hot so be careful. A company called Wahl make them.

Apart from that you can use stuff called texturising gel which will semi-straighten it, it is not harsh chemicals (like those involved in "relaxing" your hair).

Whichever option you go with buy some carrot oil grease or olive oil grease which will add moisture without being too greasy. If they don't sell them in your area, you might be ableto buy these products on ebay

You should initially go to a hair dresser, then maintain the look at home. Ceramic hair irons will do the trick, with a product like Frizz Ease. Buy a good one, about 50 dollars. It's worth the investment.

if you dont want to use chemicals (and these can ruin your hair) the only alternative is straightners, but over time these damage your hair too, so use a good heat protection spray. best of luck
