White hair issue...?

i have a friend, that is only 13 year old, and she have alot of white hair for a teen. All of her white hair are mostly in the middle of her head under all the hair. She was told that if you dye your hair more will come out.....

is this true cause she really wants to die her hair but she doesn't want more to come out.

She can dye her hair :-) It'll hurt nothing. Premature loss of pigment in the hair is fairly normal. It runs in my family. Dying her hair will not cause more greys to appear. Tell her to go to a salon though, because white/grey hair accepts color differently than her normal hair.

Um, ask her to go to a hiar doctor, it might be a disease, she should check it out.

Your friend shouldn't worry about dying her hair; dye does not cause your hair to turn white.

That said, "Wella" is a good line of dye for covering white/gray hair. They sell Wella products at Sally Beauty, and elsewhere.

I am also 13.And Some times,to my horror found what it appeared to be "White hairs" in my head.But when i pulled them out found that it was only a very blond hair (I am a brunet) For this I suggest going to the Doctor for more information and help.

Going from bright blonde hair to white/silver?

Two years ago, when I was 14, I wanted white hair. My parents wouldn't let me at that time, but they let me dye it the brightest blonde they could possibly find, so it's ALMOST white and recently I got black streaks put in towards the end, but now I'd like to move towards my dream.

None of the hair salons around here (Toledo, Ohio) dye hair white without bleaching it, and I've heard horror stories about getting your hair bleached so I'd rather go another path.

I've been told to use Sun-In, L'Oreal highlight cream and just put it all in my hair (since I'm already near white, but not quite there) and I've been informed about white hair dye at Hot Topic and spencers, but i've only found White-Out hair BLEACH.

So if anyone has tips, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

a hairstylist will have to monitor your hair as it can snap off if not taken great care...go to a colorist first and have him/her do a test strand.........

Hi ya'll I have seen a bunch a questions refering to the "white hair" ,but none have answered my question. I am talking ,not even gwen stefani white,but paper white hair!! The bleaching has been done,all the vegetable dyes tried like stargazer,directions and manic panic....all failed ,except for dying the middle of the hair,also tried fancifull ultra white minx.

Does anyone know a toner i can use ? this hair is not brassy as such more a very pale blonde,so im assuming a white toner with peroxide will penetrate the hair enought to get paper white

is there anywhere in the UK i can get wella white lady on line? which i have heard is good,or is their better?
